Macrolane is a body shaping treatment using hyaluronic acid. It is used for body shaping and volume restoration, like for breasts or buttocks. It is injected into the subcutaneous tissue under local anaesthetic.  It has been used for breast augmentation in UK even though the effect is not permanent.
